I'm Jordan - it's nice to meet you.

I was destined to become a massage therapist. I have always had a fascination with the human body, the way it works, and the ways in which we connect with it. Multiple sports and a reliance on my physical body being in top form were everyday parts of my upbringing. This gravitation towards our anatomy eventually led me to study massage therapy at MacEwan University. Since then I have worked with cyclists, personal trainers, yogis, doctors, artists, mechanics, accountants, ultra-marathoners and everyone in between. While our anatomy is mostly shared universally, every body I spend time with on my table is highly unique. Muscles, bones, mind and spirit all combine to form you, a unique individual, and I love working together to create your perfect treatment. I move with breath and listen to your body's feedback to determine the course of action. I access the system's deeper muscles, but only after proper warmup and relaxation of the superficial muscles has occurred.

I tap into knowledge from many sources such as my provincially recognized university education, years of competitive sports experience, close work with trainers and other RMTs, and 550+ hours of yoga teacher training certifications. This directly benefits you, as I understand what impact a hurting body can have on your lifestyle. I will provide remedial exercises for you to do between treatments to keep the healing going, and empower you to take care of your body. Remember, we're in this together.

I am registered with the Natural Health Practitioners of Canada. This means your treatment can be submitted to your benefits provider for reimbursement, depending on your coverage. My 2200 hour education is the model being used to create Alberta's provincial massage therapy regulation. I have acted as an assessor for the NHPC's Competency Equivalency Exam, which helps ensure Alberta's massage therapists are the best we can offer. I am constantly involved in conversation about bodywork, and learn as much as I can from those working in different ways than I am. I continue building my competency through workshops and trainings to make sure we always have the right approach for the task at hand.
