Life Force Massage offers many different treatment types to help you achieve your goals. Need to relax? Can do. Ease neck tension? No problem.
Let's get started.
Massage therapy treatments at Life Force Massage will include many different modalities. I rely first and foremost on my University education in Massage Therapy, which includes Swedish, relaxation, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, sports massage and cryotherapy (hot and cold applications). Massages at Life Force will always have an element of relaxation to them. This is achieved using a skillful flow of strokes and techniques that work together in harmony with a perfectly warm table, the inviting aromatics of oils and incense, and just the right music for the day. This is when deep tissue massage is most effective: when the mind and body are softened and supported.
Also offered on the table is Hawaiian Lomi Lomi massage, which employs long, flowing strokes and pressure to down-regulate the nervous system, achieving ultimate systemic relaxation. This massage is unlike any other, creating heart opening and dropping tension as tissues melt on the table. Life Force also offers Lomi Sport massage, adding deep tissue techniques to bring life and function back to the muscles and joints.
Life Force offers floor mat Thai Massage, which took me to Chiang Mai, Thailand, to learn the authentic method. This is a much different way to release tension in the body; the feeling of having somebody put your body through a series of stretches, all intersected with manual energy line stimulation, will leave you floating through the week.
Take the stretch deeper with our Yin Yoga and Massage session. You practice a bespoke 60 minute yoga sequence that was crafted just for you—I massage the target tissues of each posture to help your body learn how to relax them. Back at home, practice your sequence again anytime you like to really get the most out of this session.
I will employ additional trainings done in Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM), STAMINA Massage Therapy, Muscle Fascia Cupping and more. Don't be surprised if you get a few yoga postures to do for homework, or a some lunges to do before the next time I see you. Massage therapy is a combined effort, so the effects of your session will depend largely on your involvement and adjustment of contributing factors between visits.
