Used worldwide for centuries, Thai massage helps you feel great in a whole new way.
Thai massage has been used for generations to treat dis-ease in the body. It focuses on 10 energy lines spanning the whole body and applies massage manipulations to release those areas. We will use hand, elbow, knee, even foot compressions over your tissues to increase blood circulation and prana (life force energy). It is a very relaxing session that offers similar benefits to table work in a much different delivery. Jordan studied at the Thai Massage School of Chiang Mai in Thailand, February 2018.
Your questions answered in the Q&A below

Q: What do I wear for a Thai massage?
A: Anything that you can move in comfortably. Most people enjoy layering with sweats, leggings, gym clothes, compression shorts, or whatever is warm and comfortable. Jeans or work clothes will not be the best choice.
Q: How is Thai massage different from table massage?
A: Thai massage is done clothed on a heated floor mat with little oil used. We use compressions and stretches to remove energetic blockages in the body, similar to acupressure. You'll still get plenty of work on your shoulders, back, hips and legs using thumbs, palms, elbows, knees and even feet!
Q: What about if I have an injury, am inflexible or am an expecting mother?
A: We will tailor your session to your specific needs. No techniques are mandatory, so we will use as many as we safely and comfortably can. If you are pregnant, we will not perform any massage therapy until the start of your 2nd trimester, but Thai massage is totally safe! Always speak to your doctor first if you have any concerns.
Q: How will I feel after?
A; Generally very relaxed, loosened up, and like you've recharged from a simultaneous nap and yoga class. Pressure can be easily adapted to maintain your comfort.
Q: How do I book a Thai massage?
A: Head to the online schedule. Under the usual treatments you will see a new section for Thai massage sessions. We need to know your appointment type ahead of time to set up the room accordingly. The prices are the same as for table massage.
Q: Can I use my massage multi-pack for Thai massage sessions?
A: Absolutely. Your 60 or 90 minute massage pack will be valid for both table massage and Thai massage.
Q: Will my benefits still cover the session?
A: Yes - as long as they cover your usual table massage treatments, there is no difference for a Thai massage.
